Work
Release Manager Gerald Dowd checks a work
detail. The program provides 40,000 hours of inmate labor per year to the
community.
The prisoners have assisted at the Coos County Fair, The Bureau Of Land
Management, Coquille Parks, Coos County Parks, Coquille Police Department and
the Coquille School System. In all, this represents a considerable savings to
the taxpayers.
